Why I Almost Quit, Why I Didn’t
I’ve always loved sunrises and sunsets.
Watching the sky slowly change brings a sense of peace and clarity. Through a drone lens, those moments feel even more personal. That calm became essential during my first year as a small business owner.
If I’m honest, the beginning was hard. I invested in equipment, tools and a vision, but momentum felt slow. Doubt crept in, and more than once I wondered if I had made a mistake. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating when progress does not match effort.
So I went back to my why.
I started volunteering, showing up and serving my community without expectations. Giving my time and talent reignited my passion. I focused on doing what I loved and telling meaningful stories. That shift changed everything. Relationships formed. Opportunities followed. Growth came naturally.
Profit still matters, but purpose matters more.
If you are building something new and feeling uncertain, keep going. Remember why you started and let that guide you forward.
Tough times do not last. Tough people do.
