Learning to Do Hard Things
Doing something new can be intimidating. Starting a new venture, stepping into uncertainty, and choosing growth over comfort all come with challenges. One lesson, however, continues to ground me and guide my path:
“If you can learn to do hard things, everything else becomes easy.”
That mindset shaped my journey through 2025 and is a motto I will carry into 2026.
This past year was filled with discovery, learning and growth. There were moments of uncertainty, but also moments of clarity—when passion, purpose and perseverance aligned. I am deeply grateful to do work I love and for the encouragement and support of those who walked alongside me.
One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been witnessing awe in real time. Watching a drone lift into the sky still gives me chills. Seeing kids smile, adults pause, and communities gather as technology meets storytelling is a powerful reminder of why this work matters. Capturing moments people will remember—moments that matter—makes every challenge worthwhile.
Growth asks something of us. It asks us to show up, learn, and stretch beyond what feels comfortable. On the other side of that effort is purpose, confidence and the opportunity to serve others in meaningful ways.
As I look ahead, I am filled with gratitude and hope. There is still much to build, create and explore. Let’s continue choosing growth, learning to do hard things, and doing something special—together.
